Scrying Into The Future

One of the oldest methods to foretell the future is scrying. Scrying is the reading of images in liquids and some solids. It is the method of peeping into reflections and receiving a mental picture.

Scrying can be done by looking at the images in water. In Egypt the reflections were read in ink. Some middle eastern cultures read reflections in oil. Some simply close their eyes to do eyelid scrying.

Scrying is not clearly defined. There is no uniformity in procedures.

Scrying had also been popular through the reading of images in mirrors. Mirrors got replaced by Crystal balls.

The Crystal ball is used as a terminology in the English language to mean future predictions.

Irrespective of the surface of the image, scrying is the ability to read images and receive intuitive messages or visions.

The famous seer, Nostradamus, practised scrying by staring into a bowl of water or a mirror.

Note: Staring into a smartphone is not scrying.
