Power of Emotional Healing

Society teaches us to suppress our laughter and tears. By suppressing emotions, feelings are bottled up. This creates Emotional ill health.

Emotions are very powerful. This power instead of working in our favour, begins to work against us.

Suppressed, blocked emotions are an invitation to disease.

Little, innocent children don’t create emotional blocks. They are happy and playful. They happily clap, smile and barely walk, they hop.

In contrast, observe an emotionally depressed adults. They drag their feet, barely able to walk and maintain a balance. It appears they carry a burden in and around them. These are blocks created due to unexpressed negative emotions.

EXAMPLE: A child trips and falls on a carpeted floor. He is not hurt, but due to the shock and embarrassment, begins to cry.
The mother, lovingly picks up the child, and holds him in her arms. She rubs the elbows and knees, kisses the child and reassures him saying affectionately, “ You are fine. Go and play.” The child begins to play again, totally forgetting the incident.

This is an example of Emotional Healing.

Close friends share their emotional burdens with each other. Over a beverage or drink, they free each other of emotional burdens. This is another example of Emotional Healing.

However due to life’s complexities, we are unable to share.
Some of the reasons are:

1. No one to share with.
2. Inability to trust.
3. Fear of societal judgment.
4. Fear of repercussions.
5. Shame.
6. Guilt.

Often, we carry hidden emotions for decades. Obviously these suppressed feelings will turn into blocks. They affect mental and physical health adversely.

In my practice as an Emotional Healer, I help clients dissolve the blocks and recreate them into pure positive energy again.

With skillful questions, patient listening and respectfully but skillfully I help clients identify the root of the problem.

At the end of the session, clients feel calmer, lighter and happier.
