The term Ghosting is not connected to ghosts or spirits. It does not originate from the spooky world, but it from the world of relationships, dating and dating apps.

Ghosting is the abrupt ending of a relationship with a friend or a partner. No prior justification or warning is given. All future communication is totally cut off or ignored.
