Miracles: Truth or Fiction

Miracles are events that cannot be explained by natural laws. They defy logic.
Questions raised in people’s minds are:
1. Do miracles really take place?
2. Are miracles supernatural?
3. Do saints, healers or miracle workers possess the ability to create miracles?
There are 2 viewpoints in the mainstream, pertaining to the above points.

First viewpoint:

The ‘show me proof’ opinion is that, Supernatural is an illusion and miracles do not take place.

Second viewpoint:

This is from the fence sitters. Their opinion is neither here nor there. They are elusive and say that it is possible we don’t understand some mysteries in nature. But they leave it dangling to almost suggest that in future, mankind may decipher some secrets.

The Spiritual viewpoint is that miracles do exist.
Spiritual and paranormal investigators say,
“Can the creator, who created everything in the universe, and created nature itself, can he not go above, against or beyond natural laws?”

Saint Thomas Aquinas, sums it up:
“To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary.
To one without faith, no explanation is possible.”

Many organized religions believe in miracles. However, they teach that one must continue with life and daily duties. If God wishes to send miracles, He will. One must not just sit waiting for the miracle to happen.
